If AI is the future of SAAS, where should I be looking?

Hello Bravodos! This is my first post on this forum.

I've been reading about Artificial Intelligence being a big part of the future of SAAS. My background is in construction software (design, project management, simulation). If I'm looking to become a part of this brave new world, what kind of companies are on the cutting edge? Who's set up for success? Where is the funding going?

There are dozens and hundreds of companies coming out these days. Look at how they use API's and their API robustness in terms of integrations, feature capabilities, and etc. Those companies that are fully leveraging and maxing out their API capabilities are the ones that are likely going to last, or at least get swallowed up by the bigger fish. After all, these tools need to integrate and communicate effectively with other software, data, and a host of other information to be truly effective. Not to mention accurate.

A really easy way to learn about API's and use them is to sign up for a free Spotify Developer account. Postman is a mainstay for many as well.

If you are a sales person that can talk API's, it's like understanding Chinese and having a US based MBA. You can write your own ticket!

If you're new to the industry, why do you want to be on the cutting edge? What's attracting you to that?

"Where is the funding going?" is exactly the question you should be asking - but look at established companies to see what they are investing in as well.
