Nah, go all out. Get a 2008-2010 Lexus ES350. It's the "nicer" Camry

When I learned at the age of 13 that Lexus was a nicer Toyota, Acura a nicer Honda, Lincoln a nicer Ford, etc my head almost exploded

There’s so many people that have no clue as adults. There was a scene in Analyze That (whatever the sequel was called) where the guy in the Audi dealer kept trying to correct De Neiro saying he had a Lexus all smugly, as though it was totally different from a Toyota.

a million dollar invested in stable dividend-yielding stocks can net you 40-50.000 dollars in dividends per year. (pre-tax)

be smart, invest the money. lease the car or buy it from your dividends. IDGAF, just don't spend it all in one go.

Think long term baby. 40-50k per year in dividends FOR LIFE. that's your retirement

40-50K if you don't re-invest it, compound that shit. I don't need an extra $40K a year right now... rather retire in my late 50's!

Couldn't agree more. however the loaded question in this thread is focussed towards gearheads looking for car options 😉

Very true plus those dividend stocks could increase in value if you hold on to them long enough

They’re insanely smooth and comfortable. It’s the sort of car that isn’t designed for handling per se, but designed to get you to your destination as comfortably as possible. Still enough power to get up to 60 faster than a lot of other things on the road too.

Car is a depreciating asset. Unless your wheels are broken down it's a waste of money. I'll stick with my Mazda and invest my commission.

had a real big year a few years in a row. got a decent audi Q5, first nice car I've owned. Used the rest to start actually investing like an adult, get into some pre-IPO investments, save for a down payment and prepare to get hammered with taxes. the next years taxes are always rough!

I’d buy a loaded GMC Sierra 2500 HD with a bench row front seat so I could get the family of 6 in.

Obviously then would also need to buy a boat...and a nice 5th wheel. Expanding the outdoor life adventure possibilities.

And invest the rest.

I would rather invest it to make more money and retire early, but if I had a choice of car it would either be a Skyline GTR R33-R35 or the classic Nissan Skyline Hakosuka.
