Have a conversation, be human.

Yes, when you first start, following the script/structure allows you to develop knowledge and be more comfortable with the messaging. Once you have a grasp on talking the industry, using common terminology, asking half decent questions....make it your own.

People don't want to talk to a robot or some SDR reading from a script. They want to have a conversation about their business. No one gives a fuck about you or your company. They care about them, the value you provide them, and the problems they have.ย

Make friends with your AE. Schedule a 1 on 1 meeting with them so you can learn their process and formulate a plan.
