I did look that up prior to my post, so thank you for the sage advice. I'm asking more about something you could tell yourself, not something you wish you knew ahead of time.ย

One thing youโll find in sales is a plethora of bullshit tiles. I personally prefer the title of BDR because itโs more flexible in that ambiguity.
Never add BDR to your current role in LinkedIn, once you lave a company you can change the role back to that, but the current company, always put 'Specialist at Problem X'
Most of the time there is no different other than what the teams chooses to call them. Some companies differentiate the roles between inbound/outbound roles though.
Turn off your phone during work hours. Get a second phone just for business, if the company doesn't use dialer tech and give you a number.
Read every book you can about sales.
