One thing youโ€™ll find in sales is a plethora of bullshit tiles. I personally prefer the title of BDR because itโ€™s more flexible in that ambiguity.

Never add BDR to your current role in LinkedIn, once you lave a company you can change the role back to that, but the current company, always put 'Specialist at Problem X'

Most of the time there is no different other than what the teams chooses to call them. Some companies differentiate the roles between inbound/outbound roles though.
