Not really a “start over” answer but I wish I had become more industry focused earlier on. I’m focused in banking and building your expertise, network of referenceable clients and a REAL perspective takes a lot of time. Once you get in your motion - it becomes way easier to find new business and expand inside accounts. I know guys who are well established in their respective niche and they always have options when it come to deals, job opportunities, ect because they have a unique set of skills that are hard to find in the market. Even through your net won’t be as wide being so niche - opportunities and accounts that exists within that niche drives demand that result in financial success or unique career options that most people won’t ever get access to. That’s my two cents.

Although I have heard it comes with more stress than you would want, I wish I went into Fintech from the off.

Do people really answer your calls for this ? I know it’s needed but it always seems like a hard sell bc they have some form of it

I haven't worked in Cybersec, buddy does, the majority of leads are from conferences/marketing/warm e-mails and any time a company is hacked. Cold calling in it still works to my understanding though

Selling the Suds, why, its recession proof, when your happy you drink and when your sad you drink. Either way I make money. Not to mention the endless amount of free samples and many different benefits that come with that industry and I don't mean health benefits. Cheers!!!!

SWELLNESS = sexual wellness. E-com goldmine, nobody walks into the local Walmart to buy a dildo. Nice profit margins and largely recession proof. This is the way.
