I've only ever posted one poll on LI and while also a poll hater (because they're overused by LI InFlUeNcErS), I got a fuck ton of responses, messages and new (not spammy and annoying) connections out of it...
I had the same experience. My most engaged post by a longshot was the one poll I put up.
