Im Freaking Lazy This Week

I want to be lazy and not really do anything since its my last week here at my company but I got too much crap to do ๐Ÿ˜•

I manage pretty much the whole west side of the US, sending out communication about my leave and still handling POs and inquires from them.

I could just be like F it and not do much, I guess Im nice and want to leave on a good note.

What would you guys do on your last week?

Hasta la vista, baby

A last week is ideally for wrapping up anything you've been working on (either finishing it or preparing for your replacement to be able to,) and saying goodbye to your clients and colleagues.ย

I guess depending on your role you might still have to take on some simple tasks which is fine, but I wouldn't be going out of my way to find work for myself or go over and above for anyone, that's for sure.

It sucks, no one filled in my old BRD role so I am doing that as well as my ISR role.ย

Finish up anything outstanding/pressing that cannot be completed by anyone else. Gather my shit. Then peace out.

I tend to not burn bridges, but if you're a pyro you could turn off all comms and cruise to the end.

Leaving at the end of this month so right there with ya but Iโ€™m still getting paid out on whatever I close this month so I gotta grind it out. Hopefully you have time off before your next gig?

If you're getting paid on those POs then keep grinding it out!
If not, don't sweat it and just do what you can do. Don't kill yourself on a job that you're about to leave.

Cause OH NO, what if you do a bad job??? What will they do? Fire you?? Lmao.ย
At least that was my mentality last time I left a company.

Most companies I've ever worked at asked AEs that quit to take a day or two to catch up the other AEs on deals then just be done.

Loke let's be real, if I had a chance at closing something in the next 2 weeks, I'd push the start date on the next role

Are handshakes at F2F meetings a thing of the past now due to COVID? Or will it just be awkward AF for a while and then get back to normal?
