Savages,
We’ve recently come across some suspicious behavior within the War Room. Majorly, a bunch of dummy profiles were being used for farming commission points.
Commission Farming is against the Bravado terms of service. Some examples of commission farming are:
- Spamming with useless posts/comments/polls
- Creating fake profiles to upvote your own content
- Working with a friend to upvote each other back n forth.
Commission is supposed to be our way of saying “thank you” to those who add value to this anonymous community, and help salespeople to become better at their jobs. But witnessing it being misused simply breaks our hearts.
We have some rules of conduct in the WR, and this behavior is not meant to be excused. Especially in the case of flagrant violation of community rules. Additionally, it’s unfair to a large number of authentic WR savages who have been creating value every single day without being involved in any such activity.
In the spirit of keeping the commission pure, we’ve decided to ban the users who are responsible for this and roll back the (unearned) commission points.
We’ll be investigating further to check if other WR members have been involved, which also includes checking how such users entered the WR in the first place (who referred them). If the results turn out to be grave, it can lead to a permanent ban for these users.
We’d also like to bring to your notice that we‘ve put additional automatic safeguards in place to detect this kind of behavior going forward. Any violation can lead to a ban without a warning.
Nonetheless, if you suspect a user is involved in commission farming, you can tag@Gasty /@BravadoMod /@sahil on a particular post or comment. You can also choose to DM us.
We still wouldn’t want to cap any commission points in the War Room since many savages here are earning it rightfully and respectfully. A huge shoutout to these superheroes from us, who earn their commission.
Using the WR and the commission in the right spirit is going to help us in our core mission of helping salespeople become smarter, sharper, richer, and happier.
To the War Room!
