Improvements to the War Room UX/features

I am a huge Redditor, and so naturally am a massive fan of how War Room is laid out. It's a proven model :) Some of my thoughts I had to improve the user experience (UX) include (which I'm sure are all on the development roadmap):

  • There's a footer/banner at the bottom of the main page, but since it's an endless scroll you can't get to it. I'm a huge fan of endless scrolling, perhaps the contents of the footer can be put in a button on the header.
  • Feedback button, for thoughts just like this post
  • Channels akin to subreddits (love the topic tag feature)
  • Use 'Commission points' to buy reddit gold-style upvotes
  • Collapse a comment to move to the next one in the hierarchy
  • More fine-tuned control on what we get email notifications for
  • Side note: loved the Annie Duke session, can you (1) record the audio and plug it into a digital transcriber for folks who'd prefer to read than watch, or who missed it and want to scan through it quickly and (2) upload the video for 1.5-2.0x speed viewing
  • Side side note: is there a way to make chatting on the Zoom call annonymized, like syncing our username to it... like Twitch?

Thanks for the feedback! We will definitely keep these in mind in our coming feature releases.ย

For what it's worth, you can see your posts when you go to your "War Room Profile".
