Cocaine and hookers my friend. Or make some more dials, that might help.

I don't think my wife will like the cocaine, but I will for sure try to make some more dials.ย

...but she'll have no issue with the hookers?

lmao, I had to leave that open for you. I'm like 1000% certain I would be dead if that ever happened.ย

Staying consistent is the best way to prevent burnout, but it's not a solution. Sometimes you need a break. Do you have any vacation coming up with the holiday? Take a long weekend or a week, grab a drink, and chill. Try to not think about work (I say that when it's literally impossible for me).

But, otherwise, just continue to grind. Know that this slump will pass and that continuing to make dials will build your pipeline. Sales is peaks and valleys, they consistency will make the valleys smaller and the peaks will keep getting higher.

Also - you've been a BDR for 3 years?
Are you closing deals, or just prospecting? Are you a full cycle rep? If I have been in the same role for 3 years and crushing my number, I'd be asking for promotions and pay raises. If you have a good relationship with your manager, talk to them. Ask about your growth, how your experiencing some burn out, want a career path, and want a better idea of what the next step for you is.

I have had that conversation with them. My manager is pretty awesome and easy to work with. I don't really care to step into an AE position because I have other goals with my own business I have on the side. However, I have been stepping into the role of BDR manager and also I do most if not all of the training and whatnot for all reps coming through.ย

I think it might boil down to time management.ย

Awesome having the self awareness to decide which path is best for you.ย

If you're stepping into the role and already doing the training, I'd ask for it to be formalized. Title, promotion, pay raise, metrics adjusted, responsibilities lined up/formalized, etc. Then you'll have a clear path on your current role. It might spark some renewed interest and drive too.

Time management is definitely an important skill. Both inside the work day (call blocks, etc.), and outside (home projects, side gig, etc.).ย

But, with the holiday coming up, and the naturally slow period the next ~2 weeks is going to bring, take some PTO. Give yourself some time to reset. That alone can be powerful.

Drink more water.

Partially kidding. Have you tried circling back to closed/lost opps and seeing if there's someone new in the org that can help? Always love doing that!

I have been dabbling in old opps, I need to focus more on it though.

They say sales has a lot to do with timing so I think that could be super beneficial to reach back out even to old contacts too.

You could also try reaching out to companies that competitors have on their website- look on G2 for reviews and target the people that don't give them 5 stars or whatever.

Everyone in the war room will tell you it's normal. You are hitting your quota so that's a huge plus. Use that to your advantage. Start trying different avenues/making more dials to build that pipeline back up. Most people who run into this don't have the luxury of being in a good spot but can 'see it drying up.'ย

Stay positive and remind yourself of all the successes you've had so far.ย

Contextualize the no's. No today doesn't mean no next month.ย

Make sure you're using your PTO - definitely found myself struggling when I've been holding off on it.ย

As @ChunkyButterssaid - a clear career path/vision can help with it as well by giving you that north star.ย

All the time! It's so hard to be at 100% all of the time. Maybe try switching up your daily routine a bit.

Try being less of an askhole and I think it may help....I think you need to hit the energy drinks, hit the pavement one day with an AE and get out of the office..then come back and see how that changes your calls!ย

Woke up early. Worked out. Showered and lost all motivation for the morning. Anyone have energy to share to get me moving today?
