For the most part, yes. There is a different level of stress because your job is keeping the customer happy, and if they aren't they'll blow up your email.
You aren't cold calling, have less of your income tied to commish (although total earnings is almost always less), and are usually working standard hours without feeling like you need to be in early or late. There are outliers to that depending on the org, but in general it is a less stressful career. It's also why they are paid less.

depends the organization. some companies have super lax CSM orgs because the product is simpler, therefore less taxing. some companies have CSM orgs that i would rather jump off a bridge than join because of how flamed they get every day
