In Office Perks

When you go into your office (as long as you are not fully remote), what are your favorite and best perks that your company has in your office. Our company has free catered lunch on Tuesday and Friday. It makes everyone excited to go into the office while all bonding as a team.

The snack wall at one of my old companies was great--not sure I have any perks that I care about these days that'll make me stay in the office.

I work from home anyway so the perks are very nice. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Back in the day, I really liked it when they let us work from home.

The tangibles - snacks, premium coffee/espresso, occasional catered lunches, beer fridge, mini library/relax zone.

Intangibles - sales pit energy, face to faces with my BD/team/aligned departments.ย

Technically wasn't in the office but the campus we were in had a sick gym. Everything else sucked.

Beer time with team on Friday! But as we are remote now, enjoying WFH because I feel more productive and relaxed both.

I've never visited the office at my new company, but since it's halfway across the country, those perks would have to be steep to get me to go.

Former company perks were enormous - snacks, drinks, coffee bar, great gym, break rooms.ย  ย Still wasn't enough for the commute, though great when I did get in.

Getting paid on fridays is a pretty nice perk but I am pretty sure most companies offer that. Other perks we have is a gym here at the office that is nice to go down and take a bit of stress out and a decent snack/drink area.

Our office for sure lacks in the perks department, but our building has a lounge that does weekly events. They used to be more fun pre-covid, but they still have free snacks so can't complain. Our building also has an Amazon Go store so I would say daily trips down there with the team is a good perk

Three jobs ago, pre-pandemic, we had a wine keg! I got to pick out the wine each time it was replaced.ย

Also, I am a sucker for a Bevi. I have been looking around for a personal version now that remote is perm.ย

Our office perks were meh.. I miss free gym access and beer fridays. But I mostly miss spontaneous lunches or happy hours with my coworkers, actually knowing my coworkers beyond surface level virtual meetings, and our Halloween party was pretty clutch.

I go in once a month... honestly the only good thing is it's easier to get answers on things. But besides that I don't have much to get excited about.ย

have so much on my plate I don't know where to start. I feel overwhelmed so instead of just starting I do nothing. What helps me solve this is just prioritizing what needs to get done in what order and map out what I need to do to accomplish each task. I then calendar out each task and just start knocking them out.
