Ingram Micro or SoftwareOne

I have offers from both Ingram Micro and SoftwareOne for an end-to-end AE role. Both companies want me to sell AWS-managed services. I can't decide which direction to take. Can anyone kindly give any suggestions?

Quick background of myself: I have close to 4 years of hunting sales experience. I sell services related to Cloud, Data, App Development, and End-User Computing. I work with companies such as AWS, Outsystems, VMware, Freshworks, and many others. Down the road, I want to be a CRO ( Chief Revenue Officer), VP of sales,or Independent contributor who drives GTM and Business development strategies.

I know Ingram well. Very well. They donโ€™t pay the best by any means and they are now owned by a Chinese firm so thereโ€™s that.
You will be entwined with the IT the rest of your career so thatโ€™s good. Poke around and see what people working there think. They have had several rounds of layoffs as well so know where you start may not be where you end up.
Good partner for us however no where near what they used to be

How do the offers stack up against each other? And have you tracked down current/past employees on LI to get some insight?

Ingram reached out first. They countered their first offer and are pending approval to match SoftwareOne's offer. The role here is for a new team focusing on selling AWS manage services, its not related to any of the layoffs this year.
SoftwareOne was referred by AWS ( the recruiter said an AWS employee casually referred to my name). 2 recruiters are rching out at the same time, my guess is 2 diff teams in SoftwareOne.

I did my homework on both, and current/past employees are saying positive things about their respective employers.

Congratulations to you to have two (three?) solid offers. This may be a case of what your gut is telling you.

Hey! Welcome to the War Room, this is Gasty, the Community Manager here.
Wanted to highlight a few points before I get to your post;
War Room is a Sales community platform with some of the best Sales people anyone has to offer. Their advice is pure gold.
We frequently post fun Fridayโ€™s, leaderboards, whoโ€™s hiring, and more.
This isnโ€™t LinkedIn so you can go as detailed as you want. Just focus on providing value.
This is an anonymous platform, so youโ€™ll get the most by going anon.
Lastly, have you checked out the commission store yet? If not, I highly recommend. Earning commission points is also very simple, just engage and post more. Upvotes get you points.
Now to come to your post;
I think others have given you amazing insights. I'd just like to add, if the offers are competitive, go where you think you'll be able to do more justice. Choose the Market that is doing better than others, choose the employer where benefits are better, choose the role in which you'll get more flexibility.

All the best!
Welcome again :)

If I may...

I've worked in the industry for a couple of years and I can confirm that Ingram micro has more opportunity for growth compared to your VARs (S1,SHI,CDW). This being said. I would strongly recommend taking time and follow your gut instincts. One thing that I think will help you decide is who you will be working for and how was the interview experiences. Usually, you can tell the type of company they are...
