Interviewing during COVID is the absolute best

Hear me out on this one:

1- Amazing positions: there are a lot of options that would not otherwise be available (great SF based companies considering remote positions). Unsure if this will change, but it's made a lot of really promising companies available for me

2- Preparation: I'm able to have notes and talk tracks up on my computer while on the zoom call

3- Flexibility: I don't have to lie about having 2 dentists appointments in a week

4- WFH: I'm currently traveling the country while working, and every company is beyond fine with that

If anyone has any questions about how it's gone for me, feel free to drop me a note

What type of roles are you interviewing for and what does the compensation look like for the location? Just trying to get a feel for the market

typically mid market/enterprise, usually anywhere from 110/110-150/150

#3 - flexibility feels like the best one to me. It's so easy to explore the market right now without alarming your boss or anyone internally

I've noticed a lot more positions open for SF on my LinkedIn jobs feed. Not sure if they are actually filling the roles or if they keep refreshing the job description.

I don’t even know anymore 🤪
How has the competition been for these jobs? I’ve heard it’s pretty intense now that it’s not location bound (although That’s just from hearsay)

Yup. Was able to have 5 interviews during business hours in 1 week. No questions were asked.
