Is anyone else automating their entire job?

Hey War Room,

I'm going to have come clean. I've been really benefitting from this "remote work" lifestyle and wanted to get your thoughts.

I don't write a single e-mail or do a single activity on a weekly basis. I even make sure that all the middle/labor tasks in the hand-off process is there. I might spend an hour of work actually working.

Here's what I'm doing...

1) HubSpot (my own personal, enriched all the data to put it in - they give you 15m contacts for free if you don't buy their marketing products)

2) Integromat - I'm scheduling all my hooks to pull data and move data around...

3) Expandi/Phantombuster/Growth-Hacking Plugin to control my systems...

3) Lemlist - I'm using this to automate my emails and also including personalized images to all my customers.

4) Handwrytten - Automated handwritten notes...

5) Dropcowboy

6) Mail-Warm to get better e-mail delivery

7) Buffer to schedule posts on LinkedIn so my company thinks I'm working. (plus, I'm not making any phone calls, just logging them to voicemail)

My entire stack is about $100 bucks a month.

I know there are a lot of people who say don't use automation, but wow they must love to waste a lot of time.

I'm new to the War Room, but I've noticed when I'm on LinkedIn there are a lot of influencers saying that I shouldn't automate because it's not personal.

But I'm hitting some serious conversion and I'd love to see some of them look at my system and tell me if they think it's automated or not.

What do you think? Is this relevant to any of you? Do you get annoyed by LinkedIn influencers who say you shouldn't automate shit?

Lol. Yes I am. . I hire SDRs and make them do the real work, then I close the deals. . I think this is great work you’re doing. Seriously, impressive. I don’t actually know how to do any of it. But, you’re legit missing out on flexing your sales muscle. . The point of being an SDR and moving through the grind is so that you’re mentally strong enough to handle the additional bandwidth of being an AE. Most people think the transition won’t be that severe, and tbh, it is. It’s overhyped. Entry level AEs anyway. . Call me old-fashioned, and maybe I am, but you legit don’t get ahead in the big-leagues if you can’t actually sell and close. You’re not actually doing any sales. Your system is excellent, and the hustle you should be pursuing is offering to build this for all SMBs and independent businesses. You would make a killing as a consultant. . But actually selling? When I was an SDR I thought a lot of myself. I bet I could’ve gone up against some real players 7-8 years ago, and outsold them. I doubt you could do the same, based on how rusty you would be. Just my opinion btw, no offence intended, but you may want to consider that.

I second this and think that the idea that the SDR role is partially designed to prep you for AE is very true. Gotta get thru the grind to get to the bigger, full-cycle grind hahaha

Yes, I'll share all the strategy I have in the coming weeks.

I also put my post in audio above so you can understand I can use Text to Speech to get the results I need for voicemail personalization.

Bro, 100% go the consulting route. Hire a few people to train on how to set this up. Have them do it for folks on here. And then begin taking it to startups and other companies. You’ll make mad cash. And yes, I’d be very interested in paying you to learn more.

Yeah you could make some serious cash doing this
Question for OP: is what your doing illegal at all? I know CA has a lot of laws around mass emails and what not, idk where you are tho
Not a stickler lmao I'm just curious and would suggest you look into this before trying to monetize

Some of this stuff is not cheap, I'm curious on how you stack them up not to spend more than 100 U$ a month! (i.e, Expandi alone is 99 U$ a month; lemlist is around 30 U$ on the low end,e tc) Could you open that up a bit? Thanks!

Relevant to initiate outbound for sure, I can't even get my head around how some of these things work and how you've stacked them. In my role have to do what US ppl call SDR and AE wrapped into one role, if i could automate some SDR stuff would give me more closing time.
Would you consider mentoring/demo?

Very smart system! Reading the comments about how you are not growing your sales muscle - all you have to do is call the warmed-up leads that come out the other end! I am one of those guys who thinks you are definitely creating the future.

I want to use dropcowboy for voicemails but I’d have to manually log the call in salesforce. Is there anyway to automate that part?
SaaSData
Catalyst
2
VP of SaaS & Unit Economics 🏴‍☠️
Yes, 3 ways...

1) Zapier
2) n8n
3) Integromat

Just need access to your Salesforce.  Log it the same way your Engagement Platform does.

BTW - Dropcowboy is only available on Zapier via webhook (manual)

straight2voicemail works... so you'd run a Zap called Straight2voicemail from that account then log it into SFDC....

Zapier is probably enabled, your marketing team probably uses it.  So you log the drop on the execution side of it.  This is how I would implement it.

Very easy.

I would recommend Zapier, it's the easiest for Room Members.

HubSpot give you 15m contacts for free???? And there I was wondering why the boss man asked me to data cleanse the 11,000 contacts we had in my first few weeks starting. Yet another arrow to my knee.

I don't know what any of this shit means but this is fucking slick and sounds too good to be true.  So, first off, Bravo.  Secondly, what is all this automation generating exactly?  just warm leads or actual customers/new billing accounts?
SaaSData

So let's talk about the automation...

1) Like Automations (I like people's posts that I know I'm trying to influence to do a deal)
2) I connect all day up to 100+ a day (I broke through and know how to get to through the limits)
3) Visits - I visit their pages
4) OmniChannel - they accept my invite - I send emails with content
5) Content - I sent content with activity tracking in it so I know who's back again
6) Alerts - I look for B2B signals that impact prospects so I know who to call...

I've got 100s of these systems built that I use across multiple people in my company and we've got some pretty slick conversion going.

Lots of fun :)

Hell yeah, nice work.  When it comes to prospecting I'm like a caveman compared to you.  I do all of this shit manually, however I will say that I've been in the same role for 4 years now so most of my new business ops are coming from just networking across my existing accounts and following clients as they move to new companies, really low touch stuff.  The other day I made 4 cold calls total and booked 3 new meetings.

Import CSV CONTACT DATA LET IT RIP.

you import them like you own the place.

I’m even using 2captcha to break those annoying little puzzles with traffic lights and zebras after they take their cookie back.

dudes in some areas of this world are working for .32 cents for 1,000 captchas to break.

The GDPR police won’t like it but fuck da GDPR police.

Great news.  I have been working hard on this.  It shouldn't disappoint.  I am going to try to deliver some of the details and diagrams to the entire WR.

It will either knock you over or make you think I belong on the movie "Beautiful Mind".  Either way a win.
