It’s definitely worth investing! What I found is sending just an opener email with 0 links, 0 images and 0 CTA’s followed by a personalized email including the said links, images etc helps a lot.
Prioritise based on open rates, then call referring to that email.
It’s essential for a sequence.

Makes sense! I used to include links, offers and so on, and the response rate was really low. I'll try this out and see how it goes. Though, I didn't get the part about 0 CTA. How's the first email going to lead the second one without a clear CTA?

Instead of a proper CTA, why not use a softer one like, does this look interesting to you? Or Do you think it’ll be a bad idea to explore this further?
Something like that.

honestly - I never thought it very effective to begin with. Now with spam filters, etc. Its too easy to delete a cold email.

Just use Linkedin and burn through the Inmails.

Easy to be ignored, but still a key part of any outreach strategy IMO.

Yes, particularly with a multi-touch approach. Call, leave that voice mail. Use LI. Just be a human in your approach.

Exactly! There are agencies making significant revenue doing cold emailing. I think it's worth investing in but it's gonna depend on how you frame the offer

Actually write something catchy, short, and do NOT include any kind of logos/pics/links.

Definitely something you should still be investing time in. Another touch point you can reference in voicemail/call. But it definitely shouldn’t be the only thing you do

Completely agree with you on the fact that it shouldn't be the only thing I do. I feel like, with AI and stuff, we need multitouch approach just to bring in a couple of new new customers

YES it is still effective.
As always, GOOD emails still work. bad emails, spray and pray will never work. Its also a process. sending ONE email will never work. but using email as part of your cadence and being intentional about how you layer your messaging is key.

It depends on the industry you work in. I typically don’t even open cold email. Sent at scale I see it as fucking lazy, especially when some tit puts me in a sequence and references previous (shitty) prospecting emails that I can’t be arsed answering. Before you send ANYTHING, stop. Think “how can I NOT be sending more of the bottom of the barrel shitty emails that every other SDR is sending?” Remember the objective of every part of the email: Subject - get them to open the email. First line - get them to read the second line. Second line - get them to read the third line. No-one of any importance gives a shit if you went to the same college or like the same football team. Personalization means nothing. Relevance is everything. If you don’t know what truly matters to your target market before you send cold email then don’t bother sending any email before you can be bothered to find out. I check multiple inboxes each day and I believe it shows.
My personal recommendation is pick up the phone and prove you are a real human being that has a brain and knows how to talk to a person.
As a side note, why are you asking this question?

It's becoming harder to get attention via email due to the widespread AI mass email spamming. I still send a low-touch, one-paragraph email with some metrics. Does that sound interesting to you? A couple of days later, I call to follow up on the email.
However, I've been struggling lately to fill the pipeline in my sector, so I'm also open to new ways. It seems the deindustrialisation has begun in Europe.

Same thing here. I recently used Reddit to fill up my sales pipeline. It worked wonders, but if you don't get your messagung right, you'll only get people who want your services for free

It is but only just…. you can’t bank all of your new leads coming from this method alone.
