Is it better to highlight most recent role or show a fast promotion on LinkedIn

I just crossed the year mark at my job and Im starting to get more recruiters reaching out. Ideally I would stay at least one more year but due to the market's uncertainty, I feel like I should at least continue to network. My job on LinkedIn now shows me as at the company 1 year. In the Senior AE role for 4 months, and AE 8 months.

Ive considered just changing it to my current position, so Sr AE 1 Year to show time in a Sr Role to be taken more seriously. Is that stupid?

Remove the months on the roles so you don’t have to worry about this as much. Great trick for anyone with less overall experience

If you can stay 1 more year in the current role, you'll be in better shape, unless of course one of these recruiters does actually come through with your dream job right now.

finboi's suggestion is a good one.

Thats my plan. I get some recruiters reaching out with much higher base salaries +OTE than mine but I dont want to hop only to be laid off because they grew too fast *coughHopinCough*. But I like having the relationship for later if need be. Thats how I got a previous job, recruiter reached out, timing wasnt great but we connected later now I work here.

There is some slight uncertainty where Im at now so Id just like to set up my profile to where I have the most recruiters reaching out to me.

Showing the promotion highlights you're hungry, have performed well, are coachable - some traits recruiters and hiring managers look for. I would remove the months but show the growth.
