Is it weird to eat on camera during team meetings?

We have team meetings at 1:30pm around lunch time and I like to eat while I listen to people talk. People can see that on camera. Is that weird?

I think it entirely depends on what you're eating. I'll pop blueberries in my mouth while I'm on Zoom. I don't think that's super offensive... but I'm not about to like dig into a plate of fettucine, you know?

If it's during work hours, work meetings should take priority. If your team meeting is unlikely to be urgent/important, you could always ask your manager if it's ok to take a call with your mentor this time as you already had it scheduled.
