Is my Opportunity to Deal Won rate good?

Hello everyone!

I was wondering is the Opportunity to Deal Won rate that we're having in my team was good, as I don't have anything to compare it to.

We are a SaaS platform operating in the HRtech industry. Our SDR team is supposed to book meeting with people hiring, and our AEs are supposed to convert those meeting into subscriptions.

We have a conversion rate of 30% (total of subscriptions sold / total of meetings booked).

I'm neither happy nor unhappy with it but I'd like to compare it to industry standards, any idea please?

Thanks a lot, have an awesome day!

30-50% win rate is “good” but you also have to consider volume, size & velocity. The smaller / faster the deal, the more wins you need. You can live with smaller win rates on larger, more complex deals.

End of line.

Theres a lot of factors that go into this. If you are selling a lower ARR lets say in the 5-10k range then good win rates are anywhere from 40-50%, opportunity volume also factors in along with competitive landscape. My last company our business plans were built off 20% win rates with an ACV around 40k.
