Is Salesops becoming the new IT department?

Some are actually very nice and helpful, but overall my feeling is that Salesops are just creating more rules, restrictions, and processes that cater for their own needs - more data and less flexibility.


My question to you is -> Salesops should stop doing what?

If you have a perceived problem, but you don't bring it up in a public forum with a suggestion for how it could be fixed, did it really exist?

Ops teams are in place to keep the machine from running out of oil and imploding. Bumpers are put in place to prevent you from crushing the mechanisms that make your company run.
