"Is this a sales call"

So normally when I get hit with these kinds of up front "objections" I try to address them honestly but with some humor and it turns out well, even if I still get rejected we both get a chuckle and move on about our days. Not today.

Started out normal, I get transfered to my dude, hit him with the greeting immediately followed by "Is this a sales call?"

My response, "Ha, that depends if you're buying. Haha"

Him, "Haha that's a good one! No, I'm not. Fuck off."

No big deal, I've had worse. Shit, it even made me laugh and he hung up.

Not 3 minutes later I get an email from the guy, it's not the first time I've reached out so he's seen my previous email attempts.

Subject: "Sam, sorry about that"

Body: "Gotcha! Seriously fuck off"

I'm still laughing my ass off. But for real.. who hurt you?
