Is This Lying?

So yesterday my girlfriend asked me to wash the sheets after I just finished a load of laundry (Last time I brag over text about doing laundry because it results in being asked to do more laundry) For context, she works on the weekends from 8-4. I responded back via text "I will soon", but wanted to go for a run before I did more laundry. Well, I ended up running about 4 miles and was pretty gassed when I got back. I made the bed and cleaned the house a little, but by the time my girlfriend got home, I still had not gotten around to doing the sheets. However, she comes in and gleefully runs up to me, kisses me, and says "Thanks for doing the sheets and cleaning up I love you". I responded I love you too and proceed to laugh because I did not do the sheets I just made the bed. So my question is do you consider that lying or is this a case of ignorance is bliss?

I actually am in a quite similar situation now - promised my wife to cook but after a 9km run I feel like oven-cooked chicken :xD I am thinking of creative ways to land the deal with her to order food for tomorrow hehe
