Shopify is in the process of building out completely new offices focused on their new hybrid way of doing work (activity based offices). As a result, they are hyper focused on how people will return to the office and interact with these new offices they are calling "Ports" - essentially touchdown offices for team events & community // partner building.
Using our sensor technology they will be able to collect anonymous data on how employees use space. This objective data will inform them on how different rooms, layouts, and physical assets within the space perform.
Within 6-12 months of collecting data they want to get to value and have actionable insights on optimizing space design, layout, configuration.
In short, they are using our sensor & data platform to improve workplace experience for the new way of doing work.
