Job market from September onwards compared to now?

EDIT: EVERYONE MISREAD THE POST.

I never said I was going to quit job hunting altogether, I said I was going to take the rest of August off. We have one more business day left in August as of today (Aug 29) by the way.

I decided that after a gut punch of an interview process for a company, I am going to take the rest of August off in terms of job hunting. I did want to know though, as we get more in September and the fall, how are openings for AE roles going to be like compared to August and the summer?

I think everyone misread my entire topic. I never said I was going to stop searching, I said I was going to take the rest of August which we really only have 1 more business day left of off.

I’m taking tomorrow and monday off the job hunt because everyone I have talked to this week basically are. My personal feeling and experience is that hiring is ramping up, not down, in September. I had two interviews yesterday. I am feeling very optimistic to land a great role in the first few weeks of September. Keep up posted! 🤞🏼

If you do quit searching, would you send me anything you get contacted on? I saw this tongue in cheek as it probably will equal the same outcome you’ve stated of taking a break but can’t hurt to ask.

Just keep at it.  I get that but sucks and hurts but, it’ll hurt more if you find you missed that dream role.  Dust yourself off and get back on the horse.  Take care.
