I think this is shitty advice for some sales people. Some people's "selves" are fucking weird, awkward, and need to do better when it comes to human interaction. Not for me of course since I'm damn near perfect. But how about "be a better version of your weird self and be better than you are"? Sounds a little more realisitic.

This is great advice for anyone that isn’t perfect like us. But tbh I can’t be my true self at work, I want prospects to buy from me. Flaunting it in their face that I’m way better looking, smarter, funnier, and have a 69/10 on my arm (hi bb) doesn’t always work to my advantage. I could tone it down but like…I don’t know how to be anything but flawless. It causes me major suffering. Hot people like us shouldn’t have to work. Too hard on us and (less importantly,) the rest of the planet.
