Buddy up with the best AE on the team and ask to shadow her or him on some calls/meetings/demos. If you have recordings (Chorus, Gong) listen to those calls; ask the manager which ones s/he recommends. You don't have to sound like the best rep (use your own words and personality) but you should mirror the steps and message that s/he is using.

1) Even though you are now an AEโฆ NEVER STOP PROSPECTING!
The extra couple of deals this adds to your pipeline can easily mean the difference between being an average performer vs top.
2) Value is defined by the buyer. Just because you think something is expensive doesnโt mean your buyer does. Allow them to state an objection to cost before even considering a discount.
3) Listen to understand instead of listening to reply.
Your prospect said the shiny buzz words created by marketing?! STOP.
Donโt just start talking about product. Until you understand why theyโre looking for a solution, why now, and why you. Once you have that minimal understanding you have the ability to share values and features of your solution that align to their unique circumstances.
