looking at getting an AE position here and we know Glassdoor is bullshit. can anyone give me an honest look into them?

Iโve never used Glassdoor, whatโs the main reason you donโt like the platform?
Itโs like Yelp. You get former employees who give it a 1 star or new employees who gush and give it 5. I donโt know if JW does this, but some companies ask their employees to give 5 stars and do raffles if their overall rating goes up enough.
It just seems like you never get the full picture.
That's sad if the ratings aren't real. aren't they anonymous?
why would new employees give 5s?
They are anonymous but some employees are just all jazzed about a place and give it 5 stars before the honeymoon phase of a new job is over.
