When you're smashing your quota, what keeps you motivated?


What do you want to hear from your sales leadership team?


Excited to hear the responses. I have a team of high performers and I am always looking for new ways to keep everyone enjoying their role and keep it fresh.

TBH: The ONLY thing that motivated me was career growth. The money was nice, but I could make a lot of money selling drugs too. ๐Ÿ˜‚ย 

The progression from SMB to Enterprise, IC to CRO (and eventually, CEO) was the #1 motivated.ย

It's a mix of everything to have optimum motivation. So you need to recognise good work, rewarded and if there is consistency to have a career growth conversation.ย

The commission is a monetary incentive, other spiffs are definitely nice because we all work to make money but at the end of the day, there has to be a combination of future opportunities and financial windfall.ย
