Knowledge Transfer

Hi, all this app is awesome btw. I recently moved back into sales as a Director of Biz Dev for a highly technical recruiting agency (our clients are sick) for the last couple of years I've been recruiting tech executives.

I have a few questions what do you believe is the most effective outreach in your experience email, cold call, well-worded LinkedIn, etc. ?

Once I have someone on the phone or in a zoom meeting I'm golden. I just want to be more effective at getting people to engage with me.

If you use HubSpot what do you believe is the best way to set up a sequence?

what's your favorite web crawler for snagging accurate phone numbers: seamless, hire EZ, context out, etc.?

Thanks and be well gents.

I hate the term cold call. I use warm call where I know what my goal is, who I need to talk to and what I'm going to offer them in terms of value add.

LI is good for me when reaching out to people. I've had so much success I can't justify zoominfo yet but it's there for when the easy prospecting dries up.

I tried HubSpot but we have pretty strict cybersecurity regulations and almost none of the CRM providers are compliant.

i would suggest Zoominfo for data.
I would not pick just one outreach method. I would do: linked in, calls, email.

But i would use Linked In to put content out there that talks about what you do, that is targeted to the ppl you want to talk to.

What is something that ppl really like when you talk to them on zoom? Take that concept and talk about it on Linked In to try and attract other ppl.

As others have said there’s no one size fits all. Gotta do diff types of touches. I’m not a huge fan of automated sequences. Call me old school but I prefer getting my hands dirty and making quality, personalized touches.

Are you looking for candidates or for companies?  I'm assuming companies.  IF that is the case, the best recruiters I've seen go deep on specialization.  I would look up trade show and conference lists in your specialty and target them.

Series A - E SaaS startups are who we go after and our current client base for the most part we have few public tech companies we partner with but primarily startups

There is no one touch point method whether it’s sales or searching a candidates. I would use all the avenues to outreach - you never know the person responding to you via email might have heard your voicemail or linkedin inMail. I would suggest using Beta testing for your sequence to see which one has a better outcome.
