Lead Generation Salespeople Do You Exist?

Because I get so many connection requests from Founders of Sales Growth companies. You know the ones that say "I can get you 2 Billion Leads tomorrow with my new handy-dandy-fly-by-night-whatchamacallit" I am generally interested "Does anyone on here do sales for one of these companies?" If so, a few questions:

1. What do your conversion rates look like?

2. Where are you hunting (LinkedIn is super saturated with this so you have to be looking elsewhere)

3. This seems like a bit of an abyss (No offense just perspective)

Anyone else get these connections requests on a daily basis?

I get them all day long. I’ve gone from open minded to completely shut off. The category is destroying itself. I really try to give anyone a chance if the outreach is targeted and well crafted. I just don’t see any of that.

They do exists but you have to filter through the BS to find decent ones. I’ve used them with “ok” results. In my experience they are a good stop gap when you’re trying to ramp up a team of your own or trying something new. Don’t underestimate the value they bring. Being able to turn lead gen on/off can be very helpful.

I get two emails at 10 am every day that are identical from two “different” sdrs. I laugh at how poorly thought out their outreach is.

I get them all the time on LinkedIn. Sometimes they are from India, Eastern Europe, etc, but mostly they are American companies. I did not sign up for any of them however they are always as connection requests from a founder/salesperson so their is a possibility I accepted one request a long time ago and that jumpstarted the algorithm. I was just wondering if their are any sales people that work for these companies and if they have success. To me it seems like a losing battle because I ignore them mostly (except for whichever one I didn't that put me in this cycle I guess). But I was interested in who is doing it and if others were getting these requests.

@RandyLaheyIts also possible that these are all bots and I am in a digital recurring cold call nightmare. Which is also what I am asking: hence "do these salespeople exist?"
