Lead Generation through Twitter?

Anyone had success B2B Prospecting through Twitter? If so can you share your methods? I have had several recent conversations with SaaS AEs who have mentioned success prospecting through Twitter, would love to hear from all of you savages.

For SaaS is totally can work. Buyers are active on there more than ever.

Let me flesh out “it works” a bit more:

- Have an actual profile and thoughtful bio, don’t just exist (like many reps)
- Make your goal a “follow” (interact with their content just like LI)
- Post your own content
- Sliding into the DMs cold like an InMail is jarring; ease into the conversation naturally like any channel
- You can record and send a video, which I’ve found effective

It’s a massively untapped channel right now. I’ve sourced several opps through Twitter.

I haven't had too much success on Twitter, but know of a past coworker that got almost half her leads from it. It can certainly be done.

I do B2B sales for a manufacturing company. I've never thought of using Twitter. I usually just google using specific industry terms and then call whoever pop's up.
