Let me set the scene

Today might be the most beautiful "normal" day I've ever had in sales.

This morning our team meeting was short.
I signed a fat deal with a client that I actually like and it will provide residual commission opportunities for the life of the relationship. This solidifies my spot as the #1 producer in my organization.

Starbucks iced and flavored my coffee perfectly and even had a breakfast sandwich left at 11:30.

Currently taking a long lunch because the owner of my company doesn't manage us on calls and hours worked, only on actual results.

Ever just had a really fucking good day on a Wednesday?

Good shit, but the day is young, my friend.

As a wise man by the name of Future once said, "Bitch don't get too comfortable."

Hell yeah. I just made the joke I’m either about to suffer a massive trama or just hide in my house for the rest of the day

Hey I'm pulling for you regardless - the rarest thing in sales is a normal good day. Some say it's rarer than a perfect game in baseball.

Oh lessgoo! I was doing IT staffing with one of the big dogs until the Pando. I absolutely hated that company. Now I do healthcare staffing/biz dev at a startup. Healthcare is the place to be!

My company is pretty cool. They know how to keep a good sales person so I turn my cheek to some of their shit. Plus I work 100% remote so it's easy to distance myself from things I don't like there.

I used to be a top rep for one of the world's largest staffing firms. I had golden handcuff syndrome for sure. When I finally left they not only stiffed me out of 12k but they also told everyone they were blindsided (walked me out what I put in my notice).

Schmedium businesses are the way to go in sales. No red tape so easy to get deals done, direct relationships with the owner/leadership, and if you're a good sales rep you can be a King among peons.

Least: “I’m calling to check in...” or when I get a cold pitch email and the sales rep clearly did zero research on me or our org.
