Let’s stop racing to the bottom- Staffing Industry Specific

Staffing, recruiting, headhunting, whatever you want to call it is hard work. Our clients can be exceptionally demanding and unrealistic, and our “product” is human which means that it is naturally unpredictable and illogical.

I know that there are firms who regularly sign agreements that undercut the market (ie 15- 22 percent of the first year salary). Our efforts are worth more than that. I personally won’t work open jobs for below 25% and walk away from businesses that won’t pay more. Value your time! We can spend the commish better than our clients can!

I agree whole heartedly, I've found that customers bite for agencies with a bottom level mark up off the bat, but always come running back to the agencies that can actually fill.

Exactly! Price is almost never the deciding factor! Service and delivery capabilities matter far more than shorting the market
