I have hundreds of thousands of doge that I mined back in 2012 so TTFM
Is it even worth mining crypto now? I'm not talking about Bitcoin or Eth, maybe some of the smaller ones.

No idea but might be better categorized as "off topic"
the problem is that their value is highly dependent on people adopting them as currency for transactions not for investment. I think the value is high because they are finite, but also because a lot of people are holding onto them which kinda defeats their purpose. If you think companies will adopt payment in Crypto then definitely invest in them and use them. But then I think a safer bet is gold its always on the rise. or even on ETF funds.
