Life hack for applying to jobs massively... outsource it on Upwork/Fiverr

Not sure how ethical this is, but I am outsourcing my job search on Upwork LOL.

I created a job posting for people overseas to apply for jobs on my behalf. Gave them templates of my resume, cover letters, and specifications for what roles I like and examples of it. Went over my doc on a Zoom call and set expectations.

Paying a woman in Nigeria $4/hour to apply to 30-40 jobs for $16/day. I cap it at 20 hours...

These are all "Tier 2 & 3" job opportunities. I'm still working on tier 1 job opps through my network & LinkedIn.

Curious what your guys' thoughts are about this...

I have used Fivrr for a couple personal projects and haven’t been disappointed. But you get what you pay for.

That said, it wouldn’t be a bad use of money to kick start a job hunt.

Are you ok with sharing your personal information with someone this way? Sounds like a great way for identify theft to occur

Not bad, I'm just lazy. I created specific accounts for Indeed/Ziprecruiter/Dice for this person w/my resume and they don't have access to my main email.

Figured applying to jobs isn't rocket science and I use 1password for passowrd management.
