This, would love to hear about a side gig that works when both parents work and you have two kids, on top of industry events, networking, social time, play dates, daycare, etc.

Absolutely. And not this dropshipping nonsense you see advertised all over social media.

Like I actually brought up Uber/Lyft to my wife one time and she was like โ€œwhen would you do it?โ€

I had a moment in my life where I was in the insurance sales position but I can confidently say I would never do that again, same with cell phones and Copiers. I won't bash it outright but it sure isn't for me.

Generally the thought here on side gigs I've seen from the War Room Savages is A. can you put more effort in the main gig to make more money? and B. Do all that you want/can as long as it doesn't endanger the main earning potential of your primary role.

That being said, someone used to have some fun posts about actively working 2 different full time jobs at the same time.

I only know one guy that sells insurance but its not even really a side gig he more so got the license so he could get him and his wife a policy a bit cheaper, the problem with selling it is the more predatory a policy is the more you get paid *cough* whole life policies *cough* you're better off with other side hustles that benefit using your sales skills

e.g. flipping, wholesaling, any kind of d2d service you can run solo (pressure washing, lawncare, etc) insurance can be a huge moneymaker if you build up a book but you have to grind your ass off to build it in the first place

I build websites for people and write articles on the side. Hopefully one day will turn it into a full time thing, but I think having a side gig you are passionate about is a great thing to do๐Ÿค™๐Ÿซก
