Is it me, or is LinkedIn just becoming truly insufferable? Everyone posting about how they gave a job to a dog because they had the most experience or in an interview someone punched them in the face and they thought it was a sign of true leadership. I just can't deal with it, LinkedIn is great for my lead gen but some of the content is woeful! What's everyone else's thoughts?

There's been many threads on LinkedIn already, the search bar is your friend. I feel like 99% of people in here feel the same way you and the WR seems to have been created in part to get away from all the BS LinkedIn stuff.

I think this is why it may be best to be picky about who you connect with (outside of prospects you're getting touchpoints in on)ย 
i didn't learn my lesson- in college i wanted as many connections as possible. Connected to about 1,500 random people....

So the best way around it is to over communicate for a bit. Riss's suggestion is spot on, set a 1:1 and/or send a summary each day to start.

Set up a 15 minute check in, just say politely, sometimes this gets me out of the flow of work and I'm sure that you are busy too,
