LinkedIn Intro

Anyone have intro messaging that works well for you when trying to connect / start a conversation with a new prospect.

When I use LinkedIn i like to keep it simple and to the point, but was curious if there is anything else I can do to get better responses. Usually average about two responses per 10-15 messages, of that usually 1 is someone who wants to run through a demo and POC.

Cheers

Do not try to sale during first connection. Find something you can connect with like their school, sports, blog post. Really anything but your product.

Heya! I know a lot of the team open with a video for the initial connect. If you use the linkedin app on your mobile you can actually record a video of yourself in the messenger and then send that as a post.

A basic script is something like:

"Hey x, my name's heremaia with "Company y", just wanted to shoot you a quick video and put a face to the name. I wanted to connect because ...

Then the customer feels a little more comfortable knowing that you're a real person :)

@Grant_Horun Do you mind providin an example of one your "simple and to the point" intro messages? 2 responses per 10-15 sent is not half bad.
