The only thing I miss from LinkedIn Premium is getting to see who viewed my profile.ย

This is probably the only cool part about it. Unless you need to have the gold LI badge next to your name, save the cash!ย

True ! This is specially useful when you are on the market for a job. It can come as a validation of your post pattern effectiveness on attracting recruiters and headhunter.

I find it's unnecessary unless you're a recruiter, in most cases, you can find exactly who you need to within the parameters of the free version, however, be conservative with how often you search to ensure you don't max out on searches.ย

On another note, for accounts that show up as "LinkedIn Member" because you don't have premium, you can google their role and company, and Google will show you their name and you can access their profile from there as a nice little workaround.

Not if you're the one paying for it. If your company wants to pay for it, then yeah.

Have you found it useful for when you have been looking for a new job?

It gives you insights in what % you are in (if you're a top applicant), what the titles of other people are that have applied, how many skills match, etc. Some have salary ranges as well. I'd use it for the free month trial then dip ๐Ÿฆš

Hi Shortass0909 I don't think it's worth the spend as it's pretty easy to find what you need with the capabilities offered on the free version. Most of the people that are looking at your profile are recruiters/coworkers anyway.ย

if you're prospecting day in and day out - YES

creating lists, saved searches, tracking who joins your tiered accounts and what they're sharing - these are all super valuable and can help you be efficient. I'll typically start my day running through saved searches of prospects leaving existing customers. it's a great way to attack low hanging fruit and build some momentum early on in your daily routine.ย

... but also, your company should pay for this.ย

Yes - creating the lists and saved searches is something I find valuable too!

No on LinkedIn Premium, but yes on LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Premium was designed not to benefit a sales rep and has those limitations to give you a taste and entice you towards Sales Navigator if you are using it day in and day out (-- ex LinkedIn rep)

I've used it. I don't, anymore. We have a shared Sales Nav account that 3-4 of us use including for recruiting. That's that.ย

I have a different look then everyone else. I think itโ€™s well worth the spend for premium or premium career but not worth the spend for sales navigator. I like the ability to message, and unlimited people viewing while also being able to see who viewed me.ย

ideally get your company to pay for it...or you expense it. If you are planning to prospect and you dont want to get navigator - you need to get premium. regular linkedin account limits the amount of searches you can do.ย

It definitely is if your plan is intact :

Are you planning for prospect qualification and conversion? If yes, who viewed, inmails, out of office set up and stuffs can work decent

If youre planning for job opportunities : learning + who's viewed + inmails can be really handy!

great for company insghts - gives you a fuckton of openers to use with the decision makers - hiring, turnover, tenure, people per departments, near endless ability to invite people.

LinkedIn premium is all you need to fill your cold call funnel
