Yeah I love local presence. Really has helped our connection rates, especially our BDRs.

Only a couple people upset saying we were trying to trick them.

Totally worth it.

Yeah seems to be showing decent results so far, just didn't know how I felt at first from the outside looking in.

I hate it - my personal # is from a rare zip code. Most people answer out of curiosity. I think at this point, people are pretty jaded about local spam calls (I don't ever answer them). But if it works for you, go for it.

I have a different area code than the city I live in. Any time I see my area code I know it's nothing important. So oddly enough, I answer LESS when it's a local
 number.

edit: I know my prospects are different than me and you have to look at the big picture. So I'm not sure what the data says, but this is just my own personal experience

If I get a call from a local dialer I will ignore it. Any call from my area code is a car warranty or credit card interest rate scam call.

Yeah, those were my thoughts exactly, and it seems my leadership team is pushing it to boost connection rates, so I wanted to hear thoughts on it. Thanks for the input! Seems to be getting people to pick up more since I have been using it tbh, but still jaded on the whole idea lol

The corp reenactment where the prospect asked about the local dialer had me weak

Local dealers are tricky. If people don’t recognize the number they usually know it’s a solicitation call and won’t answer then get annoyed when they answer and it’s not what they expected

I dial once from the local dialer in Outreach and again from my Cell - should they ever call back on the local dialer for a missed call / voicemail, it may not get back to me and that's a lost opp there.

I love local dialers. Even if they call me out on it, they usually think it’s a neat trick. Of course, you gotta make a little jibe about it

Honestly I've gotten to the point where I won't answer calls that come from my zip just because I know this exists [and it's always spam]. Local presence h8er for sure.

So your team does not utilize this or they do and this is just your personal preference?

100% this. I stopped being the friendly guy, and went into being the friendly, but when we talk about money I am a stone. (Greyrock)
