Long hair for men in sales

Thanks to the pandemic I’ve evolved from a hard part fade to a (semi) full head of luscious locks. Whenever I’ve been on camera, I’ve been able to pull the hair back so prospects haven’t been able to see the full flow. Sales bros with long hair, has this ever hurt you in the past?

I´m all for being yourself and do what you want as long as the results are good.

But sometimes you have to look the part. So I think it depends who you´re selling to.

At my last spot, it was $1,000 for most hires that made it 90-days, but $5,000 for engineering hires that stayed on for 90. The difference was commensurate with the pace and competition in the market. I got 1 standard and 1 engineer in 2 years.

Why the downvote?  I was being honest. I think the term 'professional,' or how we view it, could stand to be broadened a bit.  I remember when it was really a no-no to have visible tattoos, as an example.  Over time, people began to realize that presence or absence of tattoos had no real bearing on results and/or outcomes.  My point, is that eventually-most physical appearance type traits will go the way of the tattoo (within reason, of course).
