I've been trying to close the unconditional love and affection of my family for 33 years. Another closing call on 12/25. I'll update you after.
17 months that I ran start to finish, inherited some 2+ year cycles mid way through that Iโve closed out though

Though in an older job, we had evaluated an opportunity that was about 3 years out and our sales team focused on the day to sales while driving towards the once in a lifetime 3 year sale that was driven by a change in laws.ย

The last sales cycle was 2 1/2 months long.
But - it all adds up.ย Without the inroads and the long connections all along the way, we never would have gotten the eventual sale.ย ย
When we first started, we just didn't have exactly what they needed.ย By the time they'd worked through all their internal transitions, requirements, acquisitions...we had developed what they ultimately needed and purchased.ย It was like going through a long wringer, though.ย Long.

Damn - what happened?
Was friends with my fiance for 3 years before we started dating, then dated for 3 years before getting engaged and wedding is in 2023 so at this point it'll be 7 years. Not CW yet though.

My first 6 figure deal took a little over 18 months (first one that org had ever closed too).ย
