Looking to open my new startup online business in Medical Devices industry

Hi All,

I want your advice as I want to open a new online business instead of working with low income. Basically, I am living in Malaysia and my business idea will be to contact some of the local manufacturers like syringes, needles, and PPE **(At the beginning ONLY)** so they can give me the right to be their agent for overseas sales and I can get a commission. I thought of buying the product and reselling it once I receive the purchase order but I don't have enough cash, plus it will require me to open a bank account and business registration in order for my customers to transfer to me.

I have experience for a few months working as a Junior sales executive in one of the manufacturer but I am not comfortable there cause it is very low salary. And it is very hard for me as foreigner to find a job.

Please advice me on the business idea if anyone done that before what their experience was like? Or anyone from medical device & healthcare industries

And is there a way that the manufacturer will accept my company to be their online distributor?

Is my customer going to ask for more documents about the company?

Looking forward to your answers :)

Lots of people looking for reps overseas, you could be the local link between NA resellers and manufacturers in your country.

If you get connected with nitrile glove and disposable gown makers hit me up.

How are you going to find customers? Why would they buy from you vs an existing store/supplier?

In middle east market there is no arabic Speaker that can help them to buy from Malaysia, and I can speak arabic so that is the difference. I am going to help in terms of communication.

Yes I won't take more than 5% as a beginner. As I know so many distributors make 10 to 30% commission. Correct me if I am wrong?
