What brand did you gravitate towards with your travel (back when we COULD travel)?

For me, I was always Delta & Marriott. I lived near a big Delta hub so it made the most sense.

How about the rest of you? Any good tips for building up the most points/miles? I basically haven’t had to pay for a vacation with real money in 5 years…

Love the delta gold sky miles card. Haven’t paid foe a flight in years and buy my nephews flights with it too. For hotels it doesn’t really matter to me as long as it’s not a dump.

Delta for the sky miles and the lounge. I really do enjoy airbnbs more than hotels though.

Jet Blue and Marriott for sure. I don’t travel JB on personal money, mostly because I get better point transfers to American or Delta…but papa will let Corp pay for the best domestic experience.

Love Delta and Marriott can get you access to some nice hotels. My husband travels a lot too so he stays at Hyatt’s. We get the best of both worlds

I've got Southwest since they have a ton of flights in and out of where I live, however looking to gravitate towards Chase Sapphire Rewards at some point.

Love reading this stuff… back in the good ol’ days (pre acquisition) we got to use our personal CC for all travel expenses, including airfare… I was easily putting 40k on my delta reserve card, not even including any personal expenses outside of work.

The airline should typically be the closest major hub. I used to be a Hilton loyalist then the year before Covid I changed it to Marriott.  I think it depends again on location, but honestly I didn't think one was better than the other in general.

Last company had the EOY in January, New year in Feb. Was nice because people weren't losing their mind at Christmas trying to push deals through.
