Listening and Making the Move Pays Off

What is going on Sales Savages!!!

So I wanted to give a little testament to this group and I hope all of the newcomers are inspired to stay in this group and really take heed and absorb the knowledge and experience that exists here.

I have been in this group basically since the beginning. I was skeptical about taking the advice of strangers and people that really had ZERO vested interest. With that being said, I needed to start looking to get out of the hardware sales world as a BDR. I dug into the advice and knowledge that was given to me and went to work. I thought that an AE position was farfetched for me, but I went for it anyway.

After about 2 months of taking my lunches to go to interviews or going out to my car to hop on a video/conference call. I was able to land an AE job in the SaaS world. It has been an incredible move for my career, finances, and overall mental wellbeing.

In the first 7 months of the year, I have already made more money than I did last year (really it was by month 5). I can actually see being debt free and super cashflow positive here by the end of the year as well.
