Manager reschedules team meeting and it overlaps with a 1 on 1 you have with a mentor. What do you do?

Be honest with your manager. Tell him the situation and ask if you could reschedule the 1 on 1 because you already had something in place (That should help your job if this guy is a mentor)
This is what I'd do. If you've got a good manager, he'll praise you for taking the initiative to have a mentor and wanting to grow in your role.ย
If it's during work hours, work meetings should take priority. If your team meeting is unlikely to be urgent/important, you could always ask your manager if it's ok to take a call with your mentor this time as you already had it scheduled.

It makes sense for people with more senior titles to get better benefits in the form of PTO/vacation. It's part of an attractive compensation package. I don't expect a VP Sales to be compensated the same as an SDR in either money or perks.
Can you reschedule the call with your mentor? Seems like they should understand if they know your role
