Maximising outbound deliverability/open rates

As the title says; would love to hear what you folk have found works best for you to:


A) Maximise deliverability - how many different domains do your orgs use, how many emails/day do you send max, is there stuff you do to increase chance of landing in inbox vs. promotions etc.?


B) Maximise open rates - what subject lines work best for you, any first lines in particular work super well?

I really only track reply rates, open is nice to know if they look at it multiple times, but I really only care if I am getting a response

Deliverability depends upon a lot of external factors as well. I look at open vs reply rate. I don’t send a lot of emails per day but I like to send customized 1st email

a) No idea im not marketing

b) simple SBJ: like : More orders, better data, Bad data, Speed-to-lead

my email in two or three words without a sales attitude to it

First lines that get right into the heart of it.

'Hey X, We're seeing x is causing alot of y and z is needed to prevent it.'

Super helpful on the subject line - we use the RE: [[my name]]<>[[cust name]] subject line and get pretty solid results but will test your suggestion!

Whats the reply rate? I know people open those because they think it’s an internal meeting or a meeting they have set with someone and we were using that in 2020 too but I heard customers just get pissed now because they open it just to find its not an internal meeting

Focus on outcomes, especially if you have case studies, white papers, etc that you can highlight your customers' results. "XXX Hospital increased their YYY by 17%" Outcomes are what customers care about. A subject line like that will capture their attention.
