MEDDIC Qualification for enterprise sales

Is this qualification method still used widely? I use it with my team and get great results, helps me differentiate the elite sellers from the amateurs. Do you use it actively?

We use MEDDPICC religiously. I personally love it and it helps qualify/disqualify ASAP. That being said, I don't think I close more deals because of it, I just think I can forecast the ones I have more accurately.

It could help you focus on the real deals vs the time wasters, then in turn, close more deals.

It’s not required to be an elite seller, but all elite sellers have a defined process that allows them to efficiently collect qualification data and execute across their business. MEDDIC or similar variations are one of the top ways to qualify.

Yeah, we use MEDDPICC all the way from the SMB level to Enterprise level.

Use MEDDPIC. It’s a great framework but there’s even more to the sales process and champion building is probably the most important part of this framework IMO

It’s like a GPS for your sale. It helps you know where in the process you are and what needs to be done to move it forward. Champion building is key.

I use it on any reasonable sized deal. I started doing it more to differentiate myself (I was SMB and trying to move to MM), but using it really has helped me button up my sales cycle

I don't think a certification to be elite, but it would help as I don't think a lot of companies teach it well. 

We use Meddic for all market segments and I don't think it's overly effective for SMB and mid-market, but it's great for enterprise.
