MongoDB GTM Layoffs

Hi everyone,

I was recently impacted by the GTM layoffs at MongoDB.

I’m incredibly grateful for the experience and the lessons I’ve gained during my time there. Now, I’m looking to join a fast-growing company, ideally in an earlier stage. Open to roles in the EMEA region or relocating to APAC/US for the right opportunity.

From a personal perspective it seems to have gotten better but I think it also depends on what line of software you sell.

Yea it seems really shitty out there, sales or not. Few at my work have left this year however we are in the medical industry so that may help a little

Ugh I'm sorry. Been in your shoes before - and around the damn holidays. Sending positive thoughts and strength your way. I'd work on making your narrative hyper-specific and tailored to whatever company you're applying to. I always got the best hits that way as why I was the unique candidate who could uniquely fill the role in a way that no one else could.
